Monotype Imaging Releases the Monotype Library, OpenType Edition; Product Includes 190 New TypefacesBusiness Wire , Jan 31, 2006WOBURN, Mass. & SALFORDS, Surrey, England -- Monotype Imaging has introduced the OpenType(R) version of its Monotype(R) Library on CD and has added 190 new typefaces to the collection, which now numbers 1496 typefaces, including 574 exclusives. The library can be viewed by visiting www.fonts.com and accessing the Font Packs/Libraries section, where a PDF font catalog of the collection is also available. "The OpenType edition of the Monotype Library marries the newest, most compelling font technology to one of the world`s most respected collections of typefaces," said Allan Haley, director of words and letters at Monotype Imaging. "The advantages of OpenType bring exceptional value to this esteemed library, considered for years an industry staple by creative professionals."
